Chivalry Chapter 3: The Duel
This is what happens to those who can't cooperate!" Revault scolded. Zeal, Mia, and Xan sat alone with him in a small stone room. Alfred and Cavia weren't involved, and as team captain Zeal volunteered to go.
"But she's a disgrace!" Xan spat.
"If you can't work together then we'll have to use another method." Revault informed.
"And that is?" Xan asked. Zeal feared what was coming.
"Duel," Revault said. "winner stays, loser is out."
It was just like their final test. At the end of a two year period they'd compete to see who would advance. Zeal wasn't eager to lose another arm.
"Fine," Mia spoke. "we'll settle this as knights." Xan

"Do you see them?" A voice asked from behind. The figure turned, smiling at the sight of a familiar Crow Cealk man.
"No, they've faded into the crowd." The figure studied the crows with immense wonder.
"Have they? Alexander?" The crow man asked. "or have you not seen them?'
Alexander sung his arm to the side, silencing the man. "Be quiet Steh'fati."
Steh'fati chuckled. "I am your superior."
"And you're about to ruin this." Alexander sighed.

It was hours later, Zeal stared at the big stage in front of them. A play, to celebrate the princess's birthday. Why didn't he get things like this?
"Zerruk, you traitor!" One man exclaimed, he waved his sword at another man.
"She was going to kill you!" Zeal noticed a lonely looking Cealk man, a fox, walking nearby. He was dressed in green robes. Zeal edged his way away from the play, towards the man.
"Hello? Cealk brother?" Zeal asked. The fox spun around, grinning.
"Zeal, you'll be mine soon." He spoke in their native tongue, he was the captain of the Cealk company of the army.
"Captain Revault! Goo d to see you." Zeal respond

Darvastar smiled, looking at the blood covered doctor. "She's born." He said, returning the smile. Darvastar quickly walked into the room, his wife, the queen of Hergaasta holding a small baby in her hands.
"What's her name?" He asked, he always let her pick, he was no good at names.
"Serana," She replied happily. "Serana of Hergaasta." Darvastar smiled at the child. He knew she would be a good future Queen.
It was only a few years in her life, she was five, when she met him. Darvastar's adopted son, a young, also five year old, Cealk. He still remembered that day...

The chilly lands of Ferial seemed to be slowly reaching its peak, plagued by the Lord of Ice, Obuelpraxa, who slowly eats away at the world.
However, it seemed fifty years ago, at the start of the war, that victory was imminent, when three great men rose up.
Xavier Birdwalker, a renowned fighter and strategist of the time. Dervon Fireaxis, an amazing wizard, and Leoth Fren, the scout of the Virtian army.
However their strength was not enough, and they were defeated. They carried three ancient artifacts, and Obuelpraxa elected three wizards to protect them.

The air was filled with smoke, Rowl noticed. There must've been a fire nearby, perhaps a bandit attack. Although all of that seemed a little off putting. Soon enough he saw the Demon Shrine, and led Jherek up to it.
"This is where we first ran into it," Rowl explained. "It flew off west, it's base is probably there."
Jherek nodded. "That way is Hermers trail. Merchants and miners use that path to get In and out of Rhelmairia, people stopped using it a couple weeks ago."
Rowl nodded, he walked up to the crumbling west wall of the shrine and climbed on top of it. The land below was a large valley, with a small road leading through i

Mihal decided to spend the day with Rowl, and things were tough. At first they'd just visited the blacksmith and picked up a sword... But now...
"Mihal," Rowl was talking, "I think we messed up." Mihal was staring emptily at a stone wall. After a while he finally said, slowly in a dark voice.
"Yes, I believe we have."

It has come to my attention that you and your men have begun planning for the fortification of Gava, and an assault on Fort Hilmoth. Well let me get something straight here when I say that you have got to get working. The men need trained, and we need results now Rowl. If you can't give us that then leave.
Sincerely, General Jerek Miloth.

I write mainly fantasy I discovered my talent in literature around ten years old, and have been practicing since, I hope to become a professional someday.
I've recently been using Fantasy Plot Generator http://www.plot-generator.org.uk/create.php?type=9 and while not that advanced in plot, its kind of funny and interesting, so I've decided to write Vulcan Birdwalker, thee Human, a plot created by the generator.
Here's a link to the plot, spoilers though.
http://www.plot-generator.org.uk/14tw6htg/vulcan-birdwalker-human.html
Yes, I put chapter 4 instead of 3, excuse me. Work on the actual chapter 4 is still in progress, as I hope for it to contain some character development it'll be a bit longer then normal.
Anyways, that's all I had to say, ao goodbye!
Thanks for the advice and the welcome. I'm interested in how you got here, considering how mediocre my works been of late. But there's always a day that I wake up and write beautifully, although that hasn't happened in a while.
